Founded in 1963 under "Pop" Brown, K7LED, the Mike and Key Amateur Radio Club has become a cornerstone of amateur radio in the Pacific Northwest. The club caters to a wide range of interests within the amateur radio hobby, including public service, contesting, DX, VHF/UHF, SSB, CW, experimentation, and traffic handling.

Known for its annual Field Day operations, M&K has consistently achieved top scores in the Western Washington section and has been recognized nationally in its 6A class. The club also organizes Washington’s largest ham swap meet every March, attracting enthusiasts from across the region.
