Kent Weald Radio Club (M0KWA): Connecting Enthusiasts Across the Weald

Welcome to Kent Weald Radio Club

Welcome to the online home of the Kent Weald Radio Club.

The club was originally formed during the heyday of CB radio, bringing people together through a shared passion for radio communication. At that time, the aim was not only to talk over the airwaves, but also to meet the people behind the voices and build friendships within the radio community.

Over the years, the club has evolved. While its roots remain in CB radio, Kent Weald Radio Club is now mainly focused on amateur radio, field activities, special event stations, and informal get-togethers for like-minded radio enthusiasts.

Following the January 2025 AGM / Meeting, the club became a more informal group of radio enthusiasts. This means there are no longer paid memberships, but the group will continue to organise events, meetings, field days, and radio activities throughout the year, just as it has done in the past.

The club callsign is MX0KWA. On this site, you will find information about club meetings, field events, special event stations, and other activities.

Please note that the club no longer holds meetings at Headcorn Aerodrome.
