Repost: HA5AO African Tour QSL Update

Pista, HA5AO, has provided a detailed update regarding the QSL process for his African DXpedition, which took place in September-October 2024. During this trip, he operated under the callsigns Z22AO, 9J2AO, and A25AO, and now the much-anticipated QSL cards for these operations are ready to be distributed.

The designs for the QSL cards have been completed, thanks to the work of Max, ON5UR, and once the cards are received from the print shop, Pista will begin mailing them. The distribution will occur in a specific order:

  1. OQRS Direct requests for Z22AO
  2. Direct mail requests for Z22AO
  3. OQRS Direct requests for 9J2AO
  4. Direct mail requests for 9J2AO
  5. OQRS Direct requests for A25AO
  6. Direct mail requests for A25AO

Pista expects the label printing and mailing process to take around 2-3 weeks. For those awaiting their QSL cards, the status can be tracked through the Log search & OQRS app. Simply search for your callsign and hover the cursor over the green checkmark to see your QSL’s current status.

In addition, Pista uploads the logs daily to LotW for OQRS Express, Direct, and Bureau requests. The full log will be uploaded to LotW by the end of May 2025.

This is a great opportunity for those who worked Pista during his African DXpedition to track the progress of their QSL requests and stay updated on their status!
