Findlay Radio Club Overview: The Findlay Radio Club, established in 1925, has a rich history of supporting amateur radio operators. The club began its annual Hamfest in 1942, which continues to be a significant event for radio enthusiasts to buy, sell, and swap equipment. The club's facilities on Totten Avenue in Findlay include a meeting room, a radio room equipped with various radios, and an extensive antenna farm for optimal radio communication. The club also operates two repeaters and participates in the ARRL's Field Day each year.
In addition to the Hamfest, the Findlay Radio Club:
- Conducts monthly examinations for amateur licenses.
- Supports the Findlay Safety Town program.
- Owns a communications trailer for emergency use by the local ARES group.
- Meets twice a month for business, socializing, and training.
Join the Findlay Radio Club for the 2024 Findlay Hamfest and experience a day filled with activities, learning opportunities, and community engagement at the Hancock County Fairgrounds.
