Club Description

Founded in 1931, the Falmouth Amateur Radio Association (originally the Falmouth Radio Club) is the largest amateur radio group on Cape Cod. The club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and an ARRL Special Services Club, dedicated to:

Educating and increasing proficiency in radio communications.
Disseminating information about advancements in radio communication.
Training licensed radio amateurs for emergency communications.
Promoting experimental activities in radio and electronics.
Elevating standards of practice and ethics in amateur radio.

FARA collaborates with local emergency services to provide communications during emergencies and is actively involved with Cape & Islands ARES and Sandwich CERT.
