Description
The Eastern Panhandle Amateur Radio Club (EPARC) is centered in Martinsburg, West Virginia, serving the Eastern Panhandle region. The club’s main activities include ARRL Field Day, the September VHF QSO Party, and the January VHF Sweepstakes (conducted in affiliated club competition for comfort in the colder months). Although EPARC has a strong interest in contesting, its members prioritize camaraderie and fun through amateur radio.
EPARC's call sign, K8EP, represents its identity after previously operating under WV8E, the call of the club's former president. The club welcomes new members and fosters community engagement through its repeater, mentorship programs, and license testing sessions.
