Description: The Desert Amateur Radio Club encompasses all of La Paz County and is a member of the Amateur Radio Council of Arizona. The club offers "Ham Radio License In A Day" classes and "Ham 101" for new hams, as well as radio programming classes. They run a 2m net, 10m net, digital net, and play Amateur Radio News Line on simplex every Friday evening. The club is active in the community, participating in local events and parades. They proudly host Quartzsfest and engage with local media to invite new members to join their activities.
