D44TWO & D44ZZI – Cape Verde

Warren KN6ZZI and seasoned Africa DXpeditioner Harald DF2WO will be active from Cape Verde in May 2025, operating holiday style from Ponta Achada, Paraia Baixo on Santiago Island (AF-005). This friendly collaboration aims to combine experience and enthusiasm to offer a multi-mode, multi-band operation.

🔹 Modes:

• Harald: CW, FT4

• Warren: SSB, FT8

• Both: QO-100 satellite (as conditions allow)
  🔹 Bands:

• HF (160m to 10m), including 60m

• 6m with a homebrew 4-element Yagi
  🔹 Antennas:

• BuddiHex (20–10m)

• Verticals (160–30m)

• 4el Yagi for 6m
  📍 Antennas mounted ~10m high, with excellent takeoff from the southeastern coast of Santiago.
