Connect with Fellow Women Ham Radio Enthusiasts: The Auto State Young Ladies (TASYLs)!

Calling all female ham radio operators in Michigan and beyond! The Auto State Young Ladies (TASYLs) is a welcoming ARRL-affiliated club specifically designed to foster fellowship and activities among women who share a passion for amateur radio.

Why Choose The Auto State Young Ladies?

  • Supportive Community: The TASYLs provide a space for women in ham radio to connect, share experiences, and encourage each other.
  • Flexible Engagement: While they hold two in-person meetings annually (spring and fall), the TASYLs primarily connect through a quarterly newsletter ("The Tattler") and a weekly net on 3940 kHz every Thursday morning at 9:00 AM Michigan time. This allows for participation regardless of location or busy schedules.
  • Open to All Experience Levels: Whether you're a seasoned operator or just getting started, the TASYLs welcome women of all ham radio backgrounds. They even offer Associate Memberships for men who support the club's goals (without voting privileges).

Meeting Information:

  • Meetings: Twice a year (spring and fall) - specific locations and dates might be announced through the newsletter or net.
  • Weekly Net: Thursdays at 9:00 AM Michigan time on 3940 kHz.
