A common question we receive is whether the Talkpod A36plus (5W version) can receive and display others' ANI (Automatic Number Identification) names. The short answer is no, it cannot. Currently, the ANI name only shows on the screen when you are transmitting. There is no way for the device to display it when receiving a transmission.
Is this something that can be fixed in a firmware update? The good news is, yes, it is possible! Our development team is aware of this limitation and is working on a future firmware update to address this issue.
