Operating out of their vibrant shack in Mount Roskill, this dedicated branch of New Zealand's amateur radio community offers a packed calendar of meetings, nets, and opportunities to connect across the airwaves.
Nestled in the Arthur Faulkner Reserve on Hazel Avenue, Mount Roskill, the Auckland VHF Group (Branch Number 66) is a cornerstone for radio amateurs across the region. Their dedicated meeting space is a hive of activity, fostering technical exploration and camaraderie among its members.
Leadership on the Air

Regular Gatherings and Airwave Connections

- General Meetings: Held on the second Monday of every month at 7:30 PM, these gatherings are a fantastic opportunity for members to discuss club news, share projects, and learn from guest speakers.
- Committee Meetings: For the club's steering committee, meetings take place on the fourth Monday of the month at 7:30 PM.
Keeping the airwaves lively, the Auckland VHF Group hosts a weekly net every Sunday at 8:15 PM on the 146.625 and 439.875 repeaters. The only exception is the last Sunday of the month, when the net follows the NZART Official Broadcast, which kicks off at 8:00 PM and is also relayed on the 6625 repeater.
