About W4IBM
Founded in June 1981, W4IBM is a vibrant club with a strong presence in the northwest Atlanta area, particularly Douglasville and surrounding counties. Our members share a passion for all things ham radio, from DXing to VHF/UHF communication.
What We Do
- Monthly Meetings: Join us on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in Paulding County. Meetings are a great way to connect with fellow hams, learn new things, and share your experiences.
- Community Service: We actively give back to the community by volunteering time and equipment for events like road races, holiday celebrations, and Chattahoochee Nature Center activities. Additionally, we support local ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Service) groups during drills and simulations.
- Repeater: W4IBM maintains a repeater for efficient communication among members and the wider ham radio community.
