Blackstone Valley Amateur Radio Club (BVARC): A Community of Enthusiasts

Nestled in the heart of Rhode Island, the Blackstone Valley Amateur Radio Club (BVARC) stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of amateur radio enthusiasts. With its founding roots tracing back to 1953, BVARC has grown from a small gathering of passionate individuals to one of the largest and most vibrant amateur radio clubs in the state.

A Legacy of Connection

BVARC was established by a group of local hams with a shared mission: to ignite interest in amateur radio and foster knowledge sharing among its members. Over the years, the club has expanded its reach and influence, becoming a cornerstone of the amateur radio community in Rhode Island.

  • Education and Mentorship: Hosting entry-level and advanced license classes, as well as license test sessions, to guide newcomers and support seasoned operators.
