Club Activities and Highlights

The Azalea Coast Amateur Radio Club (AC4RC) offers a general interest platform for amateur radio enthusiasts. Affiliated with the Battleship North Carolina Museum, the club organizes multiple on-air events from the historic ship, which is also a registered POTA (Parks on the Air) site. The club hosts Field Day and Winter Field Day operations, POTA activities in local parks, and regular Fox Hunts.

Weekly Net: The club operates a Monday Night Ragchew net at 9:00 PM local time on its VHF repeater (147.18, PL 88.5, normal split), where participants engage in round-table discussions led by a rotating Ham presenter. Netlogger is used to facilitate the sessions.

The club’s two repeaters are non-Echolink capable, and their Ragchew net provides a friendly forum for Hams to connect and share information.
