Mark your calendars for a fantastic event happening this summer! The Northeastern Indiana Amateur Radio Association (NIARA) proudly presents the Auburn Hamfest 2024. This exciting event will take place on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at the prestigious Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum located at 1600 S. Wayne St., Auburn, IN 46706.

Event Highlights

Free Admission and Parking Enjoy a day of radio fun with no entry fees. The event features 6,000 square feet of indoor display space (excluding the vast museum area), offering plenty of room for exhibitors and attendees. Parking is free and supervised by the DeKalb County ARES Team, ensuring a hassle-free experience for all visitors.

Indoor and Outdoor Vendor Sales Indoor vendor tables are available for just $10 each. Reserve your spot online at w9ou.org. Outdoor sales are also welcome, with each parking space purchase including a raffle ticket.

Raffle Prizes Exciting raffle prizes await lucky winners, including:

  • 1st: Yaesu FTM 500

Talk-In and Communication Stay connected throughout the event with the Talk-In frequency on 147.015 MHz, with a 141.3 Hz tone. Early birds can tune in at 7:00 AM, with load-in times between 7:00 and 9:00 AM.

Take a break from the hamfest activities to explore the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum. This renowned museum showcases an incredible collection of classic motor vehicles, providing a perfect blend of technology and history.

Join Us On the Air

The W9OU repeater, operated by NIARA, is available at 147.015 MHz with a +600 kHz offset and a PL tone of 141.3. Join the Tri-State two-meter amateur net on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:00 PM, the ARES training net on Wednesday at 7:00 PM, or the Circle of Friends Prayer net on Sunday at 7:00 PM.
