Description
The Ashe County Amateur Radio Club (ARC) exists to foster fellowship and goodwill within the amateur radio community. The club is actively involved in providing emergency communications through the Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES). In addition to emergency communication, the club offers training and testing for amateur radio licenses under the FCC Volunteer Examiner (VE) Program. The VE team conducts exams for all three classes of amateur radio licenses.
The club welcomes anyone with an interest in amateur radio, whether or not they currently hold a license. If you have questions or wish to learn more about the club, you are encouraged to contact any of the club officers for further information.
