Frascati, Italy – The A.R.I. (Associazione Radioamatori Italiani) Sezione di Frascati, identified by its call sign IQ0FR, has been a focal point for amateur radio enthusiasts in the region since its establishment in 1978. A group of passionate radio amateurs, already part of the Associazione Radioamatori Italiani, convened on December 17, 1978, at 11:00 AM, to officially form an autonomous section in accordance with Article 64 of the national Statute.
The section's initial location was at the Hunters' Section in Piazza Paolo III, Frascati. Today, ARI Frascati is located at VIA TRE CANNELLE 1, 00044 FRASCATI RM. For inquiries, you can contact President IZ0BTV Bizzarri Simone.
The section holds meetings twice a week: on Sundays from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM and on Thursdays from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM. For more information, visit their website: www.arifrascati.it.
