The Amateur Radio Society at Tech (ARSAT), based at Texas Tech University, has a rich history in promoting amateur radio activities within the academic environment. Affiliated with ARRL since 1984, the club has been a platform for students, faculty, and staff to explore the world of amateur radio.

Currently, ARSAT is temporarily suspended due to a lack of student involvement. This represents an opportunity for aspiring amateur radio enthusiasts to rejuvenate the club and restore its operations.
