The highly anticipated reactivation of AU2M from Arnala Island has been postponed following a red alert issued for Mumbai and surrounding regions in South and Western India.
A combination of heavy rainfall, an early monsoon onset, and an active low-pressure depression has created dangerous sea conditions. The operator team cited rough seas and high tide as the primary hazards making travel by small boat impossible and officially prohibited.
Despite logistical preparations—flight tickets purchased, gear dispatched to Mumbai—safety remains the top priority.
