Announced just days ago, Felipe (XQ7IR) will be activating San Ambrosio Island as 3G0XQ, likely in October or November 2025. This marks a highly anticipated DXpedition to one of the rarest Pacific outposts — a volcanic island located 850km off Chile’s coast.

The operation plan includes:

• 160–10m activity.

• SSB/FT8 from the island.

• A remote-controlled CW/FT8 station running 24/7.

All permits and licenses are confirmed, and more information will soon be available on the QRZ page and official DXpedition site.

San Ambrosio (with nearby San Félix) hasn't seen frequent activity, making this a must-work ATNO for serious DXers.
