🔧 Planning Progress

Excitement is building as the PJ6Y DXpedition moves “full steam ahead”! This youth-driven event is shaping up to be a standout expedition of 2025, not only for its DX potential but also for the focus on first-time DXpeditioners, bringing fresh energy into the hobby.

  • Two operating sites on the north side of Saba, ~0.5 miles apart

  • Both sites offer excellent takeoff angles to EU, NA, and AS


🏗️ Station Setup

Stations:

  • 3 Local stations: Elecraft K3 + KPA500

  • 2 Remote stations: NexGenRiB2s (via NCDXF)

Antennas:

  • 160/80m: Inverted L + RX antennas

  • 40/30m: Verticals

  • 20–10m: Triband Yagi & 5-band Hexbeam

  • 6m: 5-element Yagi

  • VHF/UHF Satellite station

Extras:

  • Full filter & multiplexer setup to reduce inter-station QRM

  • Club Log uploads with real-time leaderboard
